Can someone please suggest a way to improve my verbal score. Timing was my biggest issue today on the verbal section. I felt I answered about 80% of the questions right until I had to randomly guess on the last 8 because I ran out of time! Any suggestions on how to increase RC and SC speed? Thanks!

for CR & RC, use the powerscore critical reasoning bible and also see whether you can get your hands on some of the LSAT prep tests as these are far more comprehensive than the gmat so once you start scoring well on those, the gmat questions will seem less daunting. Basically, RC has the same questions as CR, it is just that you have to read more for RC therefore, if you can start to score highly on CR then RC will naturally follow. For SC, I suggest, Sahil's notes, Amateur Notes and Spidey's SC notes. Also, try to read lots of good broadsheet newspapers as you will not only improve your reading speed but you will get used to certain idioms etc.

send me your email address and I may be able to sort you some stuff out.
