GMAT 530 (44 , 20) Disappointed :(

Hi ,

Gave my GMAT yesterday and was highly disappointed to see ma actual GMAT score.

I was scoring quite well in my mocks :

MGMAT 1: 570
MGMAT 2: 570
MGMAT 3 :630
MGMAT 4: 660
MGMAT 5: 680
MGMAT 6 : 720

3 days before exam i scored 710

Studied SC from MGMAT SC , practised from OG 12 and 13
accuracy was 90% and higher

CR from cr bible and practised from OG 12 and 13

For Quant i used all MGMAT books and did OG 12 and 13 and 198 GMAT prep questions.

Im highly disappointed and need expert advice , please help as i have to retake after 1.5 month or so.

Focus on the answer explanations for the verbal section. Read what is right and wrong with certain choices... Find the patterns in these explanations. Often times people focus on information that is too granular - there are big topics that are tested frequently.

unfortunately, it's impossible for me to give you any meaningful advice here, because you haven't provided anything that could be the basis for such advice.
in other words, you've just given a bunch of numbers and stated "i did problems x, y, and z".
in and of itself, this information isn't terribly helpful. what did you actually do with the problems? did you just go through them, solve them, and move on (not particularly useful), or did you go back and do a decently in-depth review (very useful)?

Not sure if you were like me, but I experienced that while the MGMAT is very good for testing knowledge/concepts, it did not accurately reflect the GMAT exam. I also underperformed when compared to the MGMAT practice exams my first time. If you decide to retake, I recommend taking the MGMAT exams again, but focus mainly on the GMATPrep exams towards the week before your actual exam.

Study concepts missed in the GMATPrep worked better for me than the MGMAT as the questions tend to be different.
