IMO D. This is similar to OG10 #31 pblm.


A and B are illogical comparison
C - comparison is right but changes the meaning.
E - incapacity to acknowledge deficiencies in language - seems awkward and wordy as well whereas D is more short and crisp to the point.
Getting defeated is just a temporary notion, giving it up is what makes it permanent.
