the greatest possible value for x will be when y is minimum...
so let y=0, such that y^4 is min...
so x^4 = 100
now closest integer for x we get is 3, where 3^4 = 81 and is closest to 100...
4 will be bigger than 100...
Hence some non-integer value above 3 and less than 4 will give the greatest possible value...
hence x lies between 3 and 6
IMO: B
Greatest possible value?
