Hey,that's great improvement in ur score!
I gave gmatprep1 recently and got 640(q44,v35) and seek to improve my quant.
What kind of questions did u encounter during the exam, especially in quant.Which topics u feel one should stress more on in quant?
Also, did u find the verbal questions(especially SC) to b tougher than GMATPREP questions?
If u were to rate the difficulty of questions in GMAT verbal section, how would u rate them (CR>SC>RC?)

Thanks,
Shreeraj

Hi all, Here are all the GMAT Prep quant questions. Make sure you do them BUT only after you are done with GMAT PREP 1 and 2. This should give you an idea of what to expect on real GMAT

All the files have the same set of questions but they are sorted differently.

Very True boss.

This is an investment and any improvement in score will always reap good dividend. One final question. Which one is advisable? Verbal online or Verbal Live Prep?

I say go for it! don't think too much about whether you need to buy only the SC course or full prep - just go for the full prep. So what if you dont get to go through everything, at least you made a bold decision and stuck with it. I bought the $50 GMAT HACKS books just two weeks before the test - a stupid move - but I wanted that book to boost my confidence and it did!! In retrospect, I don't care that I spent $50 on a book that I didn't finish reading, I know I can re-sell that book and get at least some back. So, dont waste too much time deliberating.

my $0.02

Hi sinhmanj,
I am not familiar with the differences between the two courses you mentioned.I suggest that you signup for the one that gives you free access to gmatclub tests...this will help improve your quant as well

Mate, that is a huuuuuuuuge jump. I scored a 610 too on my first attempt. Thing is your RC is good so that pretty much sums up the good verbal score. RC gets to the best of us.

I got the same verbal score as yours and 1 point more in quant. Your story gives me inspiration to jump to a 750 mate. Thanks for sharing :)
Cheers!

Rohan

Hi Rohan, I am glad that my post has inspired you.

If you are struggling with RC, remember not to get too bogged down when you read the passage and dont lose focus on the big picture.
