So we're looking for a statement which, if true, would strengthen or have no effect on the argument that Africanized honeybees displacing local ones in the United States will not reduce domestic commercial production of honey.

C is the best fit because it doesn't even concern itself with honey production.

(C) seems to answer as it has nothing to do with production of honey.
