ExBenton Motor Company has developed a driver monitoring system that will warn the driver by flashing lights, and warning sounds if the driver is not paying attention to the roads ahead, or a dangerous situation is detected. A spokeswoman for the company claims that the new system will make its new cars safer.

The argument above assumes which of the following?
A. The new system will be commercially successful.
B. ExBenton Motor Company is likely to sell more cars if the new feature is available to the public.
C. People unfamiliar with the new system could become distracted or confused by the system's flashing lights and warning sounds.
D. Drivers of cars equipped with the new system are likely to know how to respond to the warning lights and flashing sounds to avert danger.
E. Similar driver monitoring systems have been proven to improve safety in both testing and on real-life conditions.

Simple answer:
conclusion: The new Warning System will be able to make its new cars safer.
Premise: Because they have installed the new system which will just warn the drivers if the drivers are not paying attention to roads ahead.

Possible Assumption(as far as I can think):
1. The driver should react appropriately to the warning.
2. The system is already tested and full proof and has a very low chance of failure.

This argument's main concern is that a monitoring system has been developed to help warn drivers through flashing of light and warning sounds when a dangerous situation is detected.

Option A:- Incorrect
The new system will be commercially successful. This is possible but it isn't commercially successful because drivers might find the flashing of the light or sound offensive therefore leading to commercial failure.

Option B:- Incorrect
Exbenton Motor Company is likely to sell more cars if the new features is available to the public. The argument's main concern isn't how much cars the company will sell which makes this option incorrect.

Option C:- Incorrect
The argument isn't assuming that the new system will distract or confuse people who are not familiar with it.

Option D:- correct
This Option is correct because the argument assumes that the new drivers of cars equipped with the new system are likely to respond to the warning lights and flashing sounds to avert danger.

Option E:- Incorrect
The argument has nothing to do with similar monitoring system that gas been proven to improve safety in both testing and real life conditions, therefore this option is incorrect because it has diverted fro the major cause of the argument.
