Since Max has 30% more than Paul's 80 marbles, Max = 80 + (3/10)(80) = 104.
Since Justin has 50% fewer than Max's 104 marbles, Justin = (1/2)(104) = 52.

The correct answer is C.

We can let j = the number of marbles Justin has, m = the number of marbles Max has and p = the number of marbles Paul has. Thus we can create the following equations:

j = 0.5m

m = 1.3p

and

p = 80

So m = 1.3(80) = 104 and j = 0.5(104) = 52. Justin has 52 marbles.

Answer: C
