First of all, very lovely job on your GMAT. Now that you have done so well, it is time for you to FORGET that test. It's over. Getting an 800 won't help you any more than your current score. Now you have to work on the other things, like writing amazing essays, getting as many applications as you can out by R1, etc. etc..
Not coming from IIT, being a little bit older, and coming as an Indian/Tech/Male, your last year's choice of schools was probably overly ambitious. And this year I would urge you to build a better mix of schools (stretch, competitive and safe) which will get you where you need to go.
There are still many things that are unclear to me in order to really evaluate where you stand: (i.e. do you have leadership exp? Did you work for the US bank in the US or India? What exactly were your achievements?
