Is the range of a combined set of set(S,T) bigger than the sum of ranges of sets T and S ?
The largest element of T is bigger than the largest element of S .
The smallest element of T is bigger than the largest element of S .
Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement (2) ALONE is not sufficient
Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but Statement (1) ALONE is not sufficient
BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient
EACH statement ALONE is sufficient
Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient
Ans is B.
i am not able to understand how cum ans is B
