Is Square root(56x) an integer?
1) x is a multiple of 14.
If x = 14, Square root(56x) = Square root(56*14) = 28, an integer.
If x = 42, Square root(56x) = Square root(56*42) = 28*Square root(3), not an integer.
So, statement 1 is insufficient to answer the question.
2) 28 is not a factor of x.
28 is not a factor of 42 and 14
If x = 14, Square root(56x) = Square root(56*14) = 28, an integer.
If x = 42, Square root(56x) = Square root(56*42) = 28*Square root(3), not an integer.
So, statement 2 is insufficient to answer the question.
1) + 2)
If x = 14, Square root(56x) = Square root(56*14) = 28, an integer.
If x = 42, Square root(56x) = Square root(56*42) = 28*Square root(3), not an integer.
So, statement 1+2 is insufficient to answer the question.
