1>(x-3)(x-2)(x-1) > 0
2> x>1

Statement 1: (x-3)(x-2)(x-1) > 0.
Let x=4.
The expression above becomes 1*2*3 > 0. This works.
Is 4>3? Yes.
Let x=1.5.
The expression above becomes (-1.5)(-.5)(.5) > 0. This works.
Is 1.5>3? No.
Since in the first case the answer is Yes and and in the second case the answer is No, insufficient.

Statement 2: x>1.
The values used to evaluate statement 1 also satisfy statement 2.
Since these values satisfy both statements, and in the first case the answer is Yes and in the second case the answer is No, both statement 2 alone and statements 1 and 2 combined are insufficient.

The correct answer is E.

If X>1

than X will always be greater than 3.

Than answer must be B.

I am not able to understand where I am wrong.pls help

think about it again,,,,x>1 implies X can be 2 or 3 and so on,since 2<3 and 4>3 thus we cant say
insufficient.
