d^2=c,

The question is extremely easy. Yet, the majority of the time you respond, you get the answer incorrect. Therefore, you confirm part 1 of your implication, but your improper implication of part 2 makes people who don't understand the question feel bad.
Anyway, the answer is D because the question states "for all values of X". Therefore, 2d = b ALWAYS and d^2 = c ALWAYS. Each statement alone is sufficient.
