Hello experts,
I haven't seen much information about how the "MBA Math" course is viewed by admissions committees: does it have much weight to offset lower undergraduate math scores? Do most admissions committees consider it an "Oh, that's nice" sort of addition to an application? Will the course carry more significance with a university that already has some kind of partnership with MBA Math to prepare their admitted students?
For example, I have a 3.15 GPA from a top public university, with a B.A. in English. Most of my worst grades were in the calculus and statistics courses that I took. I'm concerned that my 760 GMAT score (Q49-85%, V44-97%) doesn't do enough to bolster my quantitative credentials, although I'm obviously thrilled with my overall performance.
Would the MBA Math course help me make the case that my poor undergraduate math performance was more the result of immaturity rather than ability?
Thank you so much in advance!
