The legal considerations that have forced some universities to revise their affirmative action admissions programs are similar to the revisions that certain large businesses have recently made to their affirmative action hiring practices.

a
b. the affirmative action hiring practices that certain large business recently have revised
c.those that have recently forced certain large businesses to revise their affirmative action hiring practices.
d.those recent revisions that have been made by certain large businesses to their affirmative action hiring practices
e. what certain large businesses have done to their affirmative action hiring practices in th recent past.

qa is C. however doesn't the word THEIR in C cause ambiguity? Cant it refer to considerations ,universities or programs?

I usually have problems with the manhattan gmat DEADLY FOUR. Can someone help me nail this concept down.

Well in this case it is a simple case of comparing an orange to an orange.

We need to ciompare the legal considerations that affected the universities to the legal considerations that affected the businesses.

Hence look for options that have this scheme.

Only C does this.

Well man... You can but look at the part that you are allowed to change. So you alreday have the first part fixed with "legal considerations" as the subject.

So you don't have a choice but to choos the same in this part.

In this case I think no, since their is just used after businesses, there is no better way to refer their back to businesses imo.
