HI !

Today I took the GMAT after hesitation. I used the following materials:

- KAPLAN Premier 2011
- KAPLAN GMAT Advanced online classes
- KAPLAN 800 (Didn't really used it)
- Official Review 12.

It has been a long time since I used math, plus, I am an international student who just improved his English skills. However, I got the following scores in the practice exams:

KAPLAN CAT Exam : 280 (Diagnostic), 460, 460, 500, and 480
GMATPrep : 430, 430, and 430

I expected a score between 450 and 520 but it was slightly shocking to get 420 (Q:31,V:18) ! I know I didn't do my best, but I really want to know what should I do. I'm planning to retake the exam in May 15th. Note that I'll take the GRE on April 9th.

I need your suggestions, recommendations, and advices for my plan. The good part that i'm disappointed because I got a strong head-each (Although I slept on 10PM the day before the exam, but I kept waking up couple of time :| ). I believe I can do better in the next exam, but I really need to drastically improve my verbal skills in the first place then quantitative.

Sincerely,

Sultan

Tough luck buddy.

I urge you to do preparation for each area individually. If you can afford the MGMAT strategy gudies, I would recommend that for Math and SC.

Try more practice questions too.
Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert. :)

I know the feeling, I got a 440. I still don't understand why business schools care about GMAT so much.
