I plan to apply for R2, yet to take the gmat.

My practice tests scores dont seem to go beyond 650..... while quant scores range from 48-50, verbal is my weakpoint. Can anyone suggest how to improve on verbal, so that I could aim at achieving 700+.

Well you would have to start by determining what part of your verbal is weak. Are you weak in everything, or only weak in sentence correction? For sentence correction get the manhattan sentence correction book and read it front to back. For reading, I would recommend reading the economist regularly. The economist seems to use some of the same idioms/grammer as the gmat. For critical reasoning, maybe someone else can make a suggestion. And remember practice makes perfect!

Last year you could receive feedback on your app after June so its going to be a while.

well, dec has started and still no interview invite.
i am an international student from india and applied in R1 with 720/5.0/3+WE/Merchant Navy.
can anyone advice how this works?
do international students typically receive invites late?

also, i might be traveling to USA for the winter break. would it be a good idea to communicate this to the school?

thanks
Iqbal

Darden sends interview invites out right up until the deadline so I wouldn't give up hope yet. I recall someone last year got an invite like 2 days before the deadline. With the Christmas break coming I would expect everything to slow down for a bit, but I am sure more invites will come. I am not sure if international students receive invites any different then anyone else. I would imagine it is just a matter of when they look at the app.

Darden will be down for most of the break I would imagine. If they invite you to interview I would communicate it, or maybe ask the account manager if there is any winter break you could attend during the period of time you are in the US.

Hi guys.. need some help here

I'm a Round 2 Applicant. I've filled up the form and paid the fee as well. However, when I proceed to the "Review and submit your application" page.. all that I can see is "Return to Declarations" and "Print Preview". There is no Submit button!

Is this some kind of a technical glitch or am i just being dim?
