I BEAT THE GMAT!
I beat it because I got the score I wanted. It is true that I was aiming for a 610, but I got 590 (Q37 - V33) and I am not disappointed at my score at all, neither I think this is a dismal 590!
The past 3 months have been exhausting. Why? Mostly because I recently got promoted in a senior level position and also because I am the dad of a 9 and 26 months old kids. It was quite challenging to find quality time to study and, as a result, I have literally spent the last 3 months studying in my office from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and then after work. I also would take CAT tests at work every single weekend.
I took the GMAT 2 1/2 years ago and score 330. I showed up on exam not knowing was the GMAT was and this was a big mistake! I gave it another try last year and I was well-prepared, but ran through an incompetent Proctor ( https://www.beatthegmat.com/different-is ... tml#113008 ) and scored 490. I finally got the score I deserved today with my 590!
Of course I could take another 3 months of my life studying to maybe get 650, but I'd rather spend that 3 months with my wife and kids! If Bill Gates would have waited any further so he could commercialize the perfect version of Microsoft, we would probably still be waiting and the world would be different! Today, I am adopting that ideology of Bill Gates and decided to go out and apply to B-schools with my score knowing that my 590 is not as good as the mythic 800, but WHATEVER!

I will not write a long debriefing, because probably that no one will give a crap.
However, I would like to thank papgust for his support, you made a difference in my preparation and I am really thankful!
