Difficult...

Its very easy to choose option C...

but the conclusion says..

this seawater extraction method of obtaining uranium is unlikely to be commercially viable...

So instead of focusing on the method to extract uranium from seawater we shud try to find out uranium extracted from land/mines...

If its not at all possible to extract uranium from land then we can go and try to find out... if we can reduce the cost of extraction from seawater...

So if uranium extracted from land is depleting then we shud work on reducing the cost of extracting uranium from seawater....

Convincing?

conclusion -: Therefore, until the cost of extracting uranium from seawater can somehow be reduced, this method of obtaining uranium is unlikely to be commercially viable.

In evaluate the argument questions, we have to find an answer choice that with strengthen the argument with one answer and weaken the argument with a polar opoosite answer (this means we will give answers YES/NO to the choices listed and see if they effect the conclusion in opposite manner)

This happens only in choice A >>Whether the uranium in deposits on land is being rapidly depleted
Yes> then extraction from seawater will be made commercially viable, even if it is expensive. right? This weakens the argument because it proves that reduction of cost is not the only reason why we might look for extraction from seawater

No > if the land deposits are not being depleted, then unlessthe cost of extracting uranium from seawater is reduced, this method will not be commercially used. this strengthens the argument.
