thanks ; but it gives the following table when selected :

Scale U.S. Grade Equiv.
60-100 A
55-59 B+
50-54 B
43-49 C+
35*-42 C
0-34 F

so according to this table should i write a percentage of 73.34 equals to grade A in usa which is equal to 4 on GPA scale .

please Advice

thanks

Aha! You are right that this is complicated. Well, the first thing to keep in mind is that this grade conversion is for YOU, meaning to understand where you stand. (And first class in India is about an A, so the WES is not wrong)...

Most schools will ask you to report your grades in their original numbers, and since they see thousands and thousands of candidates, they will know where you stand.

For example, Wharton write: "Students reporting grades from institutions that do not evaluate academic performance on a 4.0 GPA scale should NOT convert their scores to a GPA. Report your scores or grades as your university lists them in your official transcripts, including an explanation of the grading scheme if needed. Keep in mind that we have students from 70 countries in our program and have broad expertise in grading methods around the world."

At the same time, don't forget to take control of what you can. Meaning, write that you got "First distinction" if you did, if you are ranked number 2 out of 5,000, they should know that, if you got academic scholarships and/or awards, they should know that too.

Soooo, hope this answers your concerns! And if you got anything else, my friend, we are here for you.
