(2) root v^2 + root w^2 = root x^2 + root y^2

Is it v + w = x + y?
or
v^2 + w^2 = x^2 + y^2?

1. v/w = x/y
2. root v^2 + root w^2 = root x^2 + root y^2

Please help

I didn't understand your statement 2 :/
I was wondering if you can make it clear

No. It is as posted, i.e. √(v²) + √(w²) = √(x²) + √(y²)
Which essentially translates to none of what you wrote but |v| + |w| = |x| + |y|
