An interesting query :

Are we allowed to read out the RC's to ourselves if we are alone in the GMAT test room ?

This is an interesting thing as we tend to grasp things better when read by mouthing(or take notes ). I also read this strategy somewhere in MGMAT RC but it of course did not advocate doing such a thing assuming we wont we alone in the centre.

That's a good question, Bblast.

In the Exam Administration Rules, there's nothing about reading aloud when you're the only one in the testing area (https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/test-day/gm ... rules.aspx)

Having said that, you might want to ask someone at the Testing Center before you begin the test.
