If five dogs consume three cans of pet food in four days, how many cans fifteen dogs consume in twelve days ?

Its 27 if i am not not wrong

No. of dogs(d) is directly proportion to no of cans(c) and inversely proportion to time(t)

(d1*t1)/c1=(d2*t2)/c2 we have to find c2
(5*4)/3=(15*12)/c2
c2=27

Just convert into number of cans per dog per day: 3/(5x4)
so for 15 dog and for 12 days =( 3/(5x4)) x15 x12 = 27
