As you can see from the image, the radius would have to be 4. Therefore, the maximum possible area would be 16pi

Actually the Catch here is the Cirlce doesnt have negative coordinates meaning the circle should lie in the first quadrant.

So the maximum radius can only be 4 for the circle to lie in I quadrant.

I understand that the circle need to be in the first quadrant but fail to understand the logic behind radius=4 (& not 7). Could you pl explain further?

If the radius is 7, then the leftmost point on the circle will be (-3, 0), which violates the no negatives rule.
