Eh I'm sure people have done it before and have gotten away with it. One thing to keep in mind though, if you go through with this and you get caught forget about ever getting into a business school. More importantly GMAC may take legal action against you. If you can't score a 700 even with months or years of preparation, fine, but chances are you will do alright and many business schools are fine with you scoring a 550-650 if the rest of your application looks good.

In past years there was much more of an attempt by certain posters to try to make some of the companies look bad. Things have cleaned up a lot especially on BTG. I doubt that this was ever a real situation back in 2009. DanaJ one of the moderators of BTG has indicated that she does not think that this post was legitimate. I do not know anything about this situation but respect her opinion as moderator.

Also, Guru284 only made 9 posts over the course a few days 4 years ago so I doubt that you will get a response.

With the procedures that are currently in place, any cheating of this kind would be found out immediately so any deception would have to occur do to the actions of the testing center and in recent years I think this is where the accusations have been with the standards of the test centers rather than with any individual tutor.
