What is the maximum no of 11/4 foot pieces of wire that can be cut from a wire that is 24 feet long ?

a) 11
b) 18
c) 19
d) 20
e) 30

I reckon it is 1 1/4(=5/4) and not 11/4.

If it is 11/4 then the answer = 24/(11/4) = 8.7X. So, a maximum of 8 pieces of length 11/4 foot wire can be cut from a wire that is 24 feet long. No option provided.

If it is 1 1/4 = 5/4 then the answer = 24/(5/4) = 19.2. So, a maximum of 19 pieces of length 1 1/4 foot wire can be cut from a wire that is 24 feet long. Answer C

Actually, it is 1(1/4)=(5/4)and not 11/4.
