We want to find the value of m² + 4m + 4.

(1) n = 20 implies m = 20 + 2 = 22
So, we can find the value of m² + 4m + 4, as we know m; SUFFICIENT.

(2) n² = 400 implies n = 20, -20
If m = 22, so we can find the value of m² + 4m + 4, as we did in statement 1.
If m = -18, we get a different value of m² + 4m + 4
No definite answer; NOT sufficient.

The correct answer is A.

Hold on now.... can't n=-20? Thus changing the value of our equation. I got A for this reason. I was surprised with the answer D. Am I missing something?
