The Reluctant Monarch, which Francis Craig wrote as her third in a series of books about the British Monarchy.

A) The Reluctant Monarch, which Francis Craig wrote as her third
B) The Reluctant Monarch is the third book written by Francis Craig
C) Written by Francis Craig, The Reluctant Monarch, which is her third book
D) Francis Craig wrote The Reluctant Monarch, which book is her third
E) The Reluctant Monarch, written by Francis Craig, is her third
OA is E , I am fine with E but IMO B seems nothing wrong with it

How I rejected B is:
in a series of books.... describes the third and not Francis Craig, thus it should be next to the word third which happens in E and not in B.

Experts, please clarify the following sentence:

The Reluctant Monarch, written by Francis Craig, is her third in a series of books about the British Monarchy.

Is the above sentence correct?

=> Her refers to "Francis Craig", which has been used in the modified phrase. I am in confusion.

Please shed some light on it.

Thanks.
