A. which made it easier for them - 2 reasons why this is wrong.... use of which... which refers to the noun just before the comma... in this case it refers to ant's natural enemies, however it should refer to fire ant.... second reason is use of them... pronoun error...
B. which makes it easier for it - same reason as a
C. thus making it easier for them - pronoun error...
D. thus making it easier for the ant - no error...
E. thereby, it was made easier for the ant - use of it does not make sense...

Thanks Arnav for explanation
But in "A" , "which" refers to the "process of wiping out ant's enemies"
which doesn't refer to the entire preceding clause... it only refers to the closest noun...
