the one with "going" twice is a little obnoxious/wordy (it's unusual to see structures like this unless the parallel components are extremely long, justifying the repetition), but both of them are parallel and hence technically correct.

This question puzzled me a lot....in a princeton test...in that test both the options were there....as I mentioned above...so I had no option but to guess...

hopefully the same will not appear in GMAT :-)
