Round 1...hopefully. It depends on my GMAT score on October 2. I am currently completing the application and preparing for the GMAT, so you can say I am a Jack-of-all-trades at this moment. If GMAT score is not acceptable (like my last attempt), then definitely round 2. But, it is contingent on the score.

Me too - but I'm having trouble finding information about whether or not Booth allows its students to pursue 3-year dual degrees with another university (MA/MBA) - beyond the handful listed on their website. Does anyone know?g000fy wrote:Considering round 2
Hi everyone,
I've applied in R1 (Oct 13th) and received an invitation to interview on Nov. 4th. I am anxiously waiting the final decision due to be released Dec. 15th.
My stats:
28 years old
740 GMAT
3.5 GPA from highly ranked public university
Information Science B.S., graduated honors and distinction
6 years WE at pharmaceutical industry, technology and project management
1.5 years WE at healthcare social enterprise
Target industry and function: healthcare entrepreneur
I interviewed on campus with a 2nd year student. The day prior, I visited a class and my overall impression was how integrated and well structured the entire intake process is for a potential candidate. I was very impressed at the layout and design of building to help facilitate ad-hoc interactions among students, faculty, and staff. The Winter Garden is a beautiful area to meet everyone and getting to Booth was very easy through public transportation.
The interview went very well and although I was nervous considering it was my first bschool interview, I thought I did well. One question threw me off when she asked me what type of hobby would I consider picking back up when I have free time during school (I assumed there wasn't much free time throughout the 2 years MBA but I answered it with snowboarding, a passion of mine in the winter time).
At this point, I'm waiting for a few other schools to return results but I'm very excited to have gotten an interview at Chicago Booth!
I'm more than happy to talk offline to anyone about my strategies and experiences throughout this process. Good luck everyone!

Hi,
I am planning to apply for Booth R2. I am preety much done with my essays but i havent yet given the GMAT , got late due to work. I am giving it on Dec22, I am sure of getting 700+ . Since the deadline for Booth is Jan5. Do you think the scores would be reported by that date or will i missing the deadline just because of score reporting by GMAC?
Thanks
AB

I just got the call. I've been accepted to Booth with a nice scholarship. I'm thrilled as Booth was one of the top schools on my list.

Thanks guys! It definitely will be a tough decision. I guess I'll just go to the various admit weekends and hope that helps me make up my mind!
