Assumption and inference

Hi!!

I found this blog extremely helpful. We do not need a whole lot from here but articles about "Negation Test" and difference between "necessary and sufficient assumption questions" gave me some very useful insights.

You can have a look and see if it works for you too.

Thank you

An easy way to negate answer choices (and make sure that you're taking the logical opposite, not the polar opposite):

1. Negate a modifier in the main clause of the sentence.

All widgets are red ----> NOT all widgets are red

2. If there is no modifier, negate the verb in the main clause of the sentence.

For weight loss, running is as effective as resistance training is.--->For weight loss, running is NOT as effective as resistance training is.

For me, it simplifies the process and removes a lot of the guesswork. The more quickly you can effectively negate the answers, the more time you have to find the right answer.
