Asking to be removed from wait list

I was wait listed at one of my top schools and asked to contact them and discuss my wait list. After three weeks I still haven't heard anything from them back, even when they mentioned on the letter that they would get back to me right away. In the meantime I got accepted at my top school and now will write the first school in order to tell them to remove me from their wait list. My question is, should I mention that I lost interest in their school due to their lack of communication with me? Or should I just ask to be taken of the wait list without providing any reasoning behind this?

It sounds like you're annoyed and want to let them know, but what purpose would it serve? Just send a letter asking them to remove you from the waitlist. Any more than that would be overkill.

Another way to "express your anger" is not to tell them at all. If they didn't bother to contact you, then you don't owe them anything.
