Would much appreciate your feedback. Much thanks in advance!

@RBBmba@2014,

Yes, IIMI does have the EPGP. The averages are not published by these programs but they tend to be much lower than the ones at the 3 top ones in our experience.

EMBAs by definition are part time; read here.

What you are looking for is MBA for Executives. All/most GMAT based MBA programs are those. Here is a list of top one year full-time MBA programs.

Hi MG/Sammer,
Thanks for your prompt reply.

So, bottom-line is (whatever way we call them)whether we get the on-campus/in residence full-time ~ 1 year MBA for Executives (in their early 30s with 9-10 years of experience) in any international b-schools , EXACTLY as we get in IIM-A,B,CL,I,Shillong etc. ?

I'm not really interested in part-time programs, so the above is the only viable option I've, if any, on the global platform, especially considering my experience.

Thus, it'll be really helpful to know whether I can get any US/Europe or any international programs that are fit for me ? I mean, do we have any such in US,Canada etc or are all the so-called Executive programs in US etc inherently part-time ONLY ?

Also, sent you a PM.

The usual average in international programs is 4-5 years.

US exec programs are usually part-time ones.

Best admissions consultant for INSEAD

by MBACrystalBall » Wed May 27, 2020 7:15 am
Getting into INSEAD has become tougher over the years, especially in the light of the H1B visa uncertainties in the US. So if you have your eyes set on Europe's best MBA programs, getting a little help won't hurt.

Many of our candidates who get into INSEAD have been recommending us to their peers, calling us the best admission consultant for INSEAD. Which is quite flattering, we'll admit.

And INSEAD is among the top bschools for us each year, in terms of numbers.

Send us an email along with your profile details if you're looking for help with your INSEAD essays, recommendations, interviews. Or any other top school for that matter.

I have 12 years experience in IT . Majority of my working experience is in India for IT services majors like Oracle Financial Services , TCS, Infosys .Currently I work as IT Business analyst for a bank via infosys on a corporate banking e-channel.

I have substantial experience in SWIFT , cross border Transactions ,Payments and On a Funds Transfer application (Global PayPlus -A payment engine ).I mention my experience as I think it could be useful for FinTech Careers in Payments Domain. So below is my profile :

Age:34 Work ex : 12 years . Education :Bachelor of Technology in IT
Industry :IT (IT services)

GMAT (given in 2016) : 540

GRE. (Given in 2018) : 305

Planning to give GRE again .i believe I could stretch score to 315-320.

I am looking for a Full-Time one year MBA ,preferably in UK (or Canada)due to the recent student visa changes ,which enables students to work in UK for 2Years after studies.

Post - MBA career goals :

-Change function to Strategy i.e.to work in a strategy role .Organisation like Accenture Strategy for example .

- OR to work in Payments Consulting firms like celent

- OR To work in a FinTech or a Bank leveraging my payments or Banking (IT)experience.

-OR To work in Product Management role in an e-commerce form like Amazon .

-AND to change geography of work location to UK.

I believe above are the only reasonable Post- MBA career options that I can expect due to higher work experience and my previous experience in IT .I realise that no one is going to grant me VC ,PE Consulting or IB role at this stage of my career now .

I am not considering US due to the hassle and uncertainty with post study work visa and change of location is one of the primary Goal of doing MBA.I can consider Canada as a location as well .

I am not considering Sloan programmes as placement assistance is not provided in there .

Please advise me schools in UK (orCanada)for MBA programme to achieve above goals .( I can consider Masters programme as well if it can help in achieving above POST-MBA career goals .)
Specifically MBA colleges in UK that i can look at are : Imperial ,CASS,WARWICK,ALLIANCE Manchester school.

Also advise if my higher work-ex (12 years) and age (34) could be a serious handicap in securing a job aligned to my goals post -mba as average class experience is around 6 years is most B -schools in UK.

Please advise. Also advise how can i reach you .

@Dreamerat34 , our apologies for the slightly delayed response.

Your profile contours look interesting and it will indeed be prudent to give a FinTech spin to it. However, you will have to ensure that you articulate the business impact of your work well.

Your concern is valid since MBA after 30 is tricky. This is likely to be a fair bit of hurdle at most regular MBA programs. If you are ok with life/career in India, the ideal fit will be IIMA and C programs.

Internationally, you may want to explore programs in Germany that have a slightly senior cohort.

The GRE will also pose a challenge since the average at good schools is in the 320+ range and for Indians, tends to be much higher. So, push really hard on that aspect.

Hope this helps some. You can reach out to us on coordinates in the signature below.
