The GMAT provides you with no tools of any kind outside of the clock that is ticking away in the corner and the cut and paste in the AWA! No calculator, no spell check, no way to underline or highlight and NO TOOLS like find!

The GMAT does not want to make it easier for you or more efficient or logical. They test your ability to scan the passage for a particular word - or better yet to remember which paragraph it was in...

I am advocating that the GMAT be given on something equivalent to the IPad so that you can underline and circle things in reading comp, sentence correction, geometry, etc. But until then you are completely on your own.

Try taking the official GMATPrep Test that is offered by GMAC, it is available at MBA.com. That test provides the same interface as the actual test.
