(E) deaths, thousands are injured, and they do serious damage to
Why is D correct when 'damage' is not parallel with 'causing', should it not be damaging ?

(B) deaths and injuring thousands, and serious damage to - TOO MANY ERROS TO MARK
(C) deaths, thousands who are injured, as well as seriously damaging
(D) deaths and thousands of injuries, as well as doing serious damage to - CAUSING .....as well as DOING are ||. It can be doing damage OR damaging. It cannot be DOING DAMAGING ;)
(E) deaths, thousands are injured, and they do serious damage to

causing and damaging (or) doing damage are parallel
They are causing hundreds of deaths, causing injury to thousands--> causing a list of 2 things. So, to make it clear we use and before the last thing in the list
There is no 'and' before injury in A.
Moreover hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries are parallel as well.
Only D takes care of these issues.

Hence, D
