(negative)/(positive) < 0

Sufficient

y-x >0
x is negative
lets say,
x = -a

y+a > 0

-a+1 < y < + infinity

Insufficient

If x<0, is y>0

(1) x/y < 0

x is negative, x/y is negative => y is positive Sufficient !

(2) y-x>0

y=1, x=-5 => y-x=6 >0
y=-2, x=-5 => y-x=3 >0

So if y-x>0, y can be +ve or -ve Insufficient!
