A major film studio announced the release date of a movie based on a novel that, though it was a bestseller when first published, has been out of print for nearly fifteen years. Hoping to capitalize on the anticipated success of the film, the publisher who owns the copyright on the novel plans to print a new edition to be made available the same week the film premieres.

EACH of the following, if true, supports the soundness of the publisher's plan to capitalize on the success of the film EXCEPT

(A) The publisher has received permission from the film studio to stamp the words "Now a major motion picture" on the cover of each book.
(B)Last year a new edition of a novel that had been out of print hit the bestseller lists two weeks after a movie biography of its author was released.
(C)The publisher received two hundred thousand dollars after selling the production rights to the film studio.
(D)The actress playing the lead in the film has discussed her love for the novel in nationally televised interviews.
(E)Last year a new edition of an unpopular novel was adapted into a top-grossing film, and sales of the book spiked.

Which of the Options needed in the question? Please explain Option D?

Option A - INCORRECT.
This option is in support of the publishers plan to print new edition of the novel by receiving permission from the motion pictures to be made available the same week the film premiers. Also to tag it ''Now a major motion picture'' at the cover of each book.

Option B - INCORRECT.
The movie premier has not just made the author famous but has also brought the book back to lime light by making it one of the best selling novel.

Option C - CORRECT.
The statement in this option has mistake the intentions of the publisher to be for monetary reasons only. It is assumed that the publisher wasn't just about the money but he capitalized more on the success of the film to bring him back to lime light and also to remind people of his story through this film. That is why he choose to release the new edition of the novel the same day of the movie premier.

Option D - INCORRECT.
The love of the lead actress in the movie for the book may have help spike the sales of the book and also push more interest on the mind of people who are her fans to want to read about the novel and know more about the author too, but, at the same time the national televised interview wasn't the intention of the publisher.

Option E - INCORRECT.
This option is one of the profitable encounter between the novel and the film that rebirth it to lime light. If not for the movie, there might not be a reproduction of the book after fifteen years and also the author might not be reconsidered into lime light same as the novel too. However, the success of the movie is an advantage to the publisher's success story.
