Where is this question from?
If you really think that so many calculation steps will be required to kill Diana, then others would have a fair chance to call it a very un-GMAT question. If you really enjoy calculations so much, then just make sure that 1.2^4 is just more than 2, and that's all to accept [spoiler]E[/spoiler]; 13th peg is required to take the bad luck in.

Criticise others all you want, the fact remains that the answer is 13 and you've got it wrong again.

It seems like as if I have fallen in my own trench. I was figuring out n in my above work, and that's 12 without question. But we must not forget to add the first peg to n, which proves the correct answer to be the number that really brings the

i never thought this question hetch lots of discussion but its a very good question. jumbo test is site where i found questions like this. but still i am not satisfied with any of the answer given above....
