perimeter of a square is 4S

hence 4s = 24
s= 6

circumference of a circle is 2*pi*r

r is 6/2 = 3

2*pi*3 = 6 pi

IMO D

perimeter of a square =4s

4s=24
s=6

diameter of the circle T will be 6^2+6^2=d^2

72=d^2
hence d=6sqrt2

circumference of circle T pi D (or 2 pi r)

6sqrt2 pi

one more way

We know that the perimeter of the Square S is 24

which is a+a+a+a=24
4a=24
a=6 ( which is measurement of each side )
now the diagonal of the square is given by sqrt2*a

now it is 6 root 2

but radius = 3 root 2 and now circumference is 2 * pi * 3root2

6 pi root2 is the answer
