Thanks..Also , do u think idiom list in SC grail is good enough for GMAT preparation or some other comprehensive list needs to be referred.. and did you find any CR stimulus of more than 7-8 lines , which is not one of the features of OG CR questions..

I think the idiom list in SC Grail is more than just adequate....in fact it is the longest one that I have come across....didn't come across any idioms that were not in this list....even manhattan's list is fine but shorter....u cud refer to either

sorry but don't really remember the length of the CRs on my test but found all of them manageable enough

Viki....let me congratulate on your score...thats a killing score...Good Luck with your apps..

On a different note, I wonder how the GMAT scoring system works.
Dana J got 50Q & 47V and total score of 770.
You got 50Q & 45V and still the same total score.

Well, looks like our paths will not cross there, although all excellent schools! The essay writing was worse than the GMAT... and I think the waiting right now is worse than the essay writing! Haha. All will be worth it in the end.

HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, Yale, and BU. Definitely reaching on those first three and expecting dings, but I would be happy with an acceptance to any of them, even BU, which I like quite a bit despite it's ranking.

sv77 wrote:Great .. congratulations. for the massive score . Do you think that passages and questions in RC99 cover all GMAT topics , such as economics, social science , science etc.. SC grail seems to be easy but succinct.. Any idea whether the difficulty level of GMAT questions was in same level as latter OG questions..and were any idiom usage out of the blue (not seen before in your practice )
Yes I think RC 99 is a great resource as it has passages from across subject areas and it doesn't give u too many questions from each passage unlike most other practice material....the only thing lacking is short passages since most of the passages are quite long.....Do go through the last section of SC Grail since i found that most useful while revising my SC concepts

Difficulty level is similar to the last 30-40 questions in OG

Nope didn't find any idioms I didn't know

I am preparing all the sections from OG only....
Do you think this should be enough...or I need to refer different books for different sections
Coz completing all the sections from OG itself is a big task....
What say???any suggestions

Depends on the score you are targeting. If you aiming for 600-650 then OG may be enough but if you need a higher score then you need to refer to some other material as well since the OG does not have enough difficult questions, specially for Quant.

Good Luck.
