I don't think that doing 1000SC is recommended at all. I don't see any point of doing questions after question until and unless you don't spend time reading the explanations. And unfortunately, 1000SC document doesn't have explanations, so I don't know to what extent that document will be helpful.

Yeah, even I think so. I did do the initial 100 questions in 1000SC but later thought that I'd be better off doing something else. Though the explanations to almost all the questions are available on the forums, but searching for each explanation is a cumbersome process of navigating through multiple links and then multiple posts in one link. I think it's a wastage of time.

Some explanations are good and some are bad, but don't blame the author. ;-)

congrats on the awesome score!!
were the SC questions in the real test similar to the ones in the OG? for some reason I found the GMAT Prep questions to be a little more tough than the OG ones :-), so I am hoping the real test is similar to OG.

Thanks for the document. Will go through it and let you know the feedback.

@sb37
The questions in OG are in the medium difficulty level and not many are very tough. So I think you must be doing well on GMATPREP , so you saw tough questions there. The same also happens on the actual exam I think if you're doing well on the test

Great score. Given the number of resources you have used, I can only imagine the kind of hardwork which you have put. Which school do you plan to apply to ?

Nice debrief and great points. I plan to take the GMAT in another one month. I took the free MGMAT CAT yesterday and landed up with a 650. My target is 720. Can you please suggest what should I do-should I keep on taking more practice CATs or should I firstly again revise everything and then start taking the CATs in another 7-10 days.

I rather think that the Kaplan quant questions are easy. I think the MGMAT quant questions are tougher.

Though I haven't taken the GMAT and I'm still preparing for the GMAT so I ain't any authority but I don't think that you should refer to Wren and Martin now. You should read good quality books before you start preparing for the GMAT. Once you start with the prep, SC Grail and Manhattan SC should be enough to cover grammar.
