Dude, you need to improve a lot on your English otherwise 730 will remain a dream only.

I have been preparing for the GMAT for the last 2 months and took a practice test today and was shocked to get a 31 on verbal. can you please let me know what else should i be doing to reach 40 on verbal. I'm a non-native speaker from mexico

31 on verbal means that you know the concepts but you don't know how to apply them consistently. Just focus on improving the applications of concepts and you should be good to go
