I do recommend Veritas CR 2, even without Veritas CR 1. CR 2 goes into assumptions, plan questions, most useful to know, and other difficult types. There are also many practice and homework questions of all the various types.

I also really like SC 2. This one goes deep into modifiers, the subjunctive form, comparisons, etc. I would say that I prefer the homework questions in SC2 more so than SC 1. Although SC 1 is good, too, the questions in SC 2 are great. With the SC book you already have Veritas SC 2 will go along well.

Hi David,
I am also looking for some good CR practice resource. And reading a few quality questions posted by you in the past I think i wanna go for some veritas CR's.
How many practice questions does veritas-CR-2 have ? Is it a course book like the Powerscore bible or is it a practice set ? The website does not include details regarding whats inside the book.

Additional question- I don't see en e-version of the book. How long will it take to ship a hard copy to India ?
Cheers !!

Hi David,

One more question irrespective of the discussion going on here. I took veritas prep CAT and i'm confused with the "TIMER"...i don't understand how that TIMER is working??? I mean its not showing the No. of seconds/ minutes left, plus whenever i click on next question the TIMER reflects 1:16 etc etc i mean diff diff figures, i didn't get what does this mean. I tried on all the internet explorers...please suggest what to do???

Hi,
It actually shows only minutes in h:mm format till the last 5 mins. For instance, if you are left with 64 mins, it will show you 1:04( 1hour 4 mins). But when your time left is less than 5 mins, it will show you m:ss format i.e. something like 4:26(4 mins, 26 secs). I guess this is what you are looking for.
Cheers!
