If you google "ear plugs gmat" it look like some test center not only allow the use but also provide them...
I would however check directly by asking to your picked TC anyway.

Hi,
Although my post is irrelevant to the topic discussed here, I do not want to start a new thread for my queries. So, please respond to this post. Let's say Quant section is finished in 60 mins. Then the optional break for Verbal will still be 8 mins or (15+8) = 23 mins? Moreover, do we have any refrigerator to keep any kind of juice we take along with us or is it just a simple locker kind of box?

When I tried the exam once at the end of each section I had to call the test center supervisor by raising my hand, so to start the 8 minutes break. I guess it's the same everywhere. So if you finish in advance you can sit and wait for the countdown end, but not leave the workstation for more than 8 minutes.
Again the only time I tried, fridge was not included in the break area... I had to leave my stuff on a shelf, no way to keep 'em cool but air-con...

Well, they will provide ear plugs. I guess that is standard these days. I got at my attempts.
In the center I took the test at, the locker was also outside the airconditioned room. So there was no way to keep my water cool.
Once you click finish at the end of the last question, the section gets submitted and then your 8 minute break starts.

Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert.

Additionally no chewing gum in your mouth. At some places they even strip off the belt off your waist. :/
Cheers !!
