Hi All,

I have scored 93% on Quant, and 68% on Verbal. My targeted schools are INSEAD, Oxford and 1year Executive MBA programs at IIMs (IIMA, IIMB, IIMC, IIML). I have 13 years of work-ex, decent acads and decent ECs.

My question is whether my verbal percentile would put me at a disadvantage to apply to these schools? Does anyone know whether INSEAD, Oxford and IIMs look at Q/V breakup?

I had a year's break between my first and second attempt due to personal reasons. Used OG and Knewton the second time round. This forum has been very helpful as well. thank you!

So any suggestions on whether I should re-take my gmat? Honestly I am out of steam, and would prefer not to, but would still appreciate your honest opinions.

P.S. Does anyone know of other 1 year full time mba programs akin to the caliber of schools I have listed above. If so, please let me know!

I realized that I didn't share information my prior GMAT score details..
Overall score: 660
Q-50
V-29
AWA: 5.0

I used Manhattan gmat training material and OG last time.

Any comments/response would be appreciated. Thanks..

Mind plays games.. reading all these wonderful posts and success stories of improving their scores to 750 level, I am wondering if I should retake my gmat??

I would say that you should go ahead with your applications when you have good experience, good acads, good recos and a good score. But if you are confident that you could raise your score by 40-50 points in your next attempt, then it's a better idea to retake. You need to take the final call.

Congratulations btw!! Awesome quant score!
