Hello,
On 11/18/10 i took the gmat and scored 650 (Q48,V30)
I want to thank this forum a lot. I have been one of those people who silently peep in all through out their preparation and post their scores after the exam. I also recommend the Beat the Gmat practice questions they were really helpful. Luckily i won a free subscription to premium content but could not go through entire content as i won it just before 2 weeks of my exam.
I have mixed feelings about my score, although i was expecting a 680+ because i had the following scores.
V Q
GMAT Prep 600 28 45
Mgmat 1 630 32 45
Mgmat 2 590 26 46
Mgmat 3 640 31 47
Veritas 670 37 48
Mgmat 4 660 33 47
Mgmat 5 670
Gmat Prep 710 40 47
GMAT 650 48 30
My question is do i need to take the exam again? I have the following credentials.
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering(India)- 3.92 GPA
Masters in Mechanical engineering (USA) -3.96 GPA
Work experience in Manufacturing industry in USA-3+ years
Professional Guitar player
Very active volunteer. Lead roles in two registered Non-profits.
I reported scores to Fuqua, Ross, Haas, MIT,Kellogg.
If there is any chance that i might get into these schools without retaking the exam then i ll be the happiest person tonight. I need suggestions please.
Thanks once again one and all.
650 Q48 V30 Do i need to retake?

With ur impressive acads and extra curriculars, you do stand a good chance. Just post your profile on the MBA application topic on this forum where admission experts could comment. They would be better able to help you.

Hi sthota1,
Can you please tell about your GMAT experience, as your 2nd GMAT prep was good ( 710 - 40/47) , So were the Question too tuff ( in comparision with GMAT Prep) or some timing issues were there.
Your inputs will be valueable for all others.
karanrulz4ever , has rightly mentioned to post your profile in evaluation thread on thi portal.

Actually in the gmat prep 2 i got few questions directly from OG12. So i saved atleast 5-6 minutes doing those repeat questions. But on the real exam none of the questions was a repeat and so i had some timing issues especially with the last 10 questions. I guess i had one minute per question for last 10 questions and i got lengthy CR and sentence Corrections. I guess this brought down my score. Quant was pretty easy, i had ample time finishing the section.
