Not going to sugar coat anything, but it will be an uphill battle.

Duke's mid 80% range is 630-740, Ross's is 650-750, and UCLA's 680-750.

UCLA is odd in that it's desirable location drives up its GMAT scores despite not being a top 10 school.

Based on your GMAT scores, at Ross and UCLA you'd be trying to be in the bottom 10% of enrolled students GMAT-wise, and probably in the bottom 20% at Duke, which isn't a desirable place to be. People are admitted with your score, but there's a reason so compelling that the admissions staff is willing to overlook a 640 GMAT. If you're going to try this, you need to show how you fit in with the school, how this school will help you achieve your goals, and what you can contribute to the student body.

Even then that may not be enough. I'm by no means an admissions expert, but I feel that while a high GMAT score won't guarantee you an admission, a low score can be the reason that keeps you out. If you have time, take the test again...being able to get a 680 will help a lot.

Best of luck.
