(B) Despite the agreement among United States voters to the fact
(C) Although United States voters agree
(D) Even though United States voters may agree
(E) There is agreement among United States voters that
A? I though it is "many United States voters"...sinc eit is countable

"Much" is not referring to the number of voters - it is "however much [we] may agree" and agreement is not countable. If you wanted to use the countable voters, you'd have to say something like, "No matter how many US voters agree..."

Not 100% positive where the underline starts (the original poster didn't indicate) but if it starts where I think it must, then the answer is A. C doesn't follow parallelism (it drops the "that" at the end) - the "that" is necessary both b/c the later clause also uses it, and because saying "Although voters agree there is" is incorrect - you need "voters agree that there is" because you're saying they agree to "the fact that" the entire following clause is true.

I think A is the answer because it is refers to the degree of complaining and no answer actually suits that requirement.

Even I opted for D. Is it not the right one because this option misses the imp 'that' at the end as well?

Hence only 2 options are valid A & E.

E: is wordy: if you check OG, many options that starts with "there is a..." , "there were descli..." are termed as wordy.

By the way what type of construction is however much+ subject?
does it mean
To whatever extent the united states voters may.....


NS:I think somebody should encourage users to underlined to error parts....i was also thinking answer was C initially was i thought 'that' is not in the underlined part....see it changes the whole meaning...and may be correct answer as well

any way i know notion "if she makes mistakes ,we cannot make another mistake in the name of correcting it,otherwise i would have thanked you as well for thanking me accidentily to make things equal...lol...(take back...)

I have got much doesn't refers to voters here
i was trying to ask about awakard construction the sentence has
(usually it drags the non-native speaker's into some sort of trap.......i am no exception..so bit worried...lol)
