n + (n+1) + ... + (m-1) + m
= 1 + 2 + ... + (n-1) + n + (n+1) + ... + (m-1) + m - (1 + 2 + ... + (n-1))
= m(m+1)/2 - (n-1)(n-1+1)/2
= m(m+1)/2 - n(n-1)/2
= (1/2)(m(m+1) - n(n-1))
= (1/2)(m^2 + m - n^2 + n)
= (1/2)(m^2 - n^2 + m + n )
= (1/2)( (m+n)(m-n) + (m+n) )
= (1/2)(m+n)(m-n+1)

Therefore, the answer is B.
